New director for Holy Trinity Peace Village

Erling Sævareide (68) is succeeding as director of HTPV from January. Erling is the third voluntary senior member in the relay initiated by the Norwegian Friends of Peace Village.
Erling is a teacher by profession with heavy experience as headmaster in the Norwegian school. He has several periods of experience in the service for Norwegian Church Aid in South Sudan in addition to experience as teacher in Uganda engaged by the Norwegian Peace Corps.

Ezra Remo Weleya - appointed as deputy director for Holy Trinity Peace Villae

My name is Ezra Remo Weleya. I am married with one wife and children. I was appointed as the Deputy Director, Holy Trinity Peace Village on 11th January, 2015, after a familiarization period of two months with HTPV in 2012. I have a working experience of twenty-five (25) years with Non Governmental Organizations and governments in the East Africa Region. Most of my experiences have been mainly with national and international NGOs at middle and senior management positions in charge of administration and development programmes in emergencies, especially in South Sudan.

My key personal attributes are in primary education development and organizational management; research and consultancy; programme administration and management. I have additional capacity in financial and human resource management, especially in identifying personnel weaknesses and providing appropriate solutions for improvement. I judge myself as generously a committed and confident person; willing to undertaking long term working relationships with my employer so as to yield long term benefits to the organization. I am self motivated, hardworking, and exceptionally pleasant person in many ways with my team members; making me adapt easily to different cultural and traditional groups. I speak and write fluently in English Language besides other South Sudanese Languages such as Bari, Lugbara-Madi.  I can also speak good Arabic (but not write) fluently; some Kiswahili and a bit of Luo.

My previous work with NCA in Eastern Equatoria State with pastoral communities was a driving force for me to apply for a position as a deputy director with Holy Trinity Peace Village Kuron. I am grateful to the leadership of HTPV Kuron for offering me this position and will dedicate my time be result oriented through participatory approaches. I have a good academic background to provide the necessary capacity for building organizational internal capacity in programming, monitoring, evaluation and quality assurance of goods and service delivery in the next five years to come.
